This coffee is processed at the Kirorero washing station which sits at lake level in the steep Gasuma valley. It is so remote that the only way in or out is by boat! More than 2,000 smallholders deliver their cherry here, many travelling on foot or bicycle from surrounding hills. Although this is one of its most isolated sites, the coffee from here is some of the most expressive. Expect Blackberry, Milk Chocolate and Praline notes.
